The Band

Matt Cleverly

Guitar

Matt is the founding member of the band and been performing with The Revivals since day one. Inspired by his heroes Oasis, Matt set out to form a band playing the music he loves and that inspired him.

Matt is known for bringing an arsenal of different guitars to each gig and arriving at least an hour before the rest of the band.

Due to his experience and knowledge of the covers band scene, Matt is our gig booker and manager. It will no doubt be Matt who you speak to when contacting us for information.

Steve Fraser

Lead vocals

Steve has an incredible range which allows him to hit notes most other performers struggle to hit. This gives us the opportunity to play songs you don't ofter hear cover bands play such as Del Shannons Runaway and Jackie Wilson's Higher And Higher.

Steve went viral in 2021 when he joined the sea shanty craze and sang an ode to the Stevenage pub he manages, The Mulberry Tree. The video was viewed over 50,000 on Facebook and received national press coverage.

Lee Barratt

Drums

Lee is a master drummer who has toured the world including Japan and America. He has played to over 90,000 people and even played alongside some of the bands we cover.

Lee first picked up sticks at 5 years old and soon demonstrated a natural ability to play. In 2005, Lee joined an originals band which went to on to be Kerrang! award winning, play Reading Festival and be signed to Warner Bros music label. His drums can also be heard on the Guitar Hero 3 video game.

Quite frankly, you won't find a better drummer playing in Hertfordshire

Duncan Ramsey

Keys

Duncan is our keys master who has been playing keyboard and guitar for over 20 years. Working his away up piano grades at rapid rate, his knowledge of the instrument allows him to improvise over songs and occasionally play lead guitar parts on his keys. He also teaches piano in his spare time at Groove2Music in Watford.

Duncan has been in other projects including multiple covers and functions bands. This has given him knowledge of the industry and how to best set up the speaker, PA and back line equipment. Duncan can be seen tinkering away with wires and amps to provide the best sound possible, slightly varying each time depending on the size and set up of the venue.

Mark Randall

Bass

Mark has been playing bass for over 15 years. Inspired by great bassists such as John Entwistle, Flea and Bruce Foxton, he bought a bass and taught himself.

As well as The Revivals, Mark has also been in an alt rock originals band for 10 years who have played around the country and featured in magazines and radio play.

Mark can usually be found bopping his head and singing along at the back of the stage.
